Black Mug with Sundrop Shapes
A satin black mug with glossy yellow shapes that really pop.
Each mug is wheel thrown and altered, with an extruded handle made from a custom die shape. The glazed surfaces are created using a wax etching technique – a process with multiple steps allowing the pattern to be intrinsic to the form.
Dimensions:
4” tall x 5 3/4” wide (at the handle) x 3 1/2” diameter
Mugs hold approximately 13 oz (a perfect size)
All work is handmade and have variations from one to another.
