Arch Vase in Lemon Cream with Eggshell Shapes

A satin lemon cream vase with glossy eggshell shapes that buoyantly and proudly defies gravity. Tall and flamboyant, this vase can hold anything you can dream of. The eggshell shapes pop off the surface and accentuate the form, the interior is glazed in lemon cream.

Wheel thrown from two sections and assembled to achieve the proper height and geometry. The handles are extruded coils and sculpted while quite wet to retain their shape and not crack. They are then carved to fit the forms perfectly and attached to dry very carefully over a 4-week period.
