Double Deco Vase in Baby Blue and Grass Green

$2,100.00

The largest vases I’ve made to date and a doubling of a classic - the Deco vase. Iterating and adding another thrown element, these vessels are becoming more and more anthropomorphized, their scale is undeniable.

Brushed with larger strokes of color, the broad canvas of these vases allowed for more expressive marks, really complimenting the scale of the form.

Wheel thrown from three sections and assembled over three days to achieve the proper height and geometry. The handles are extruded coils and sculpted while quite wet to retain their shape and not crack. They are then carved to fit the forms perfectly and attached to dry very carefully over a 2-week period.

Dimensions: 23” tall x 18” wide (at the handles) x 5” diameter vase form

*This piece is complete and ready to ship from our Brooklyn studio within 2 weeks. Since a larger and delicate item, additional shipping will be calculated after delivery address is given and charged separately.
